The First Years Committee is responsible for ensuring that incoming first years feel welcomed and get to know other students and the university and the city. They are mainly responsible for organising an introduction day (or weekend) for first-year students aswell as Formal & Social events for first years. This will be an addition to the Hopweek, primarily focused on getting to know Security Studies, the association, fellow Security Studies students, and The Hague.
